Whitlock Electric
How It Works
What happens when you call, who you talk to and what we can and cannot promise.
1. You call the number on this site
Calling the number on this site routes your call through a call-tracking and advertising partner to an independent electrical service provider, or to a scheduling line that works with providers in the area. Which provider answers depends on your address, the time you call and who is available.
Calls may be recorded by the call-tracking partner for quality and billing. Calling is free.
2. You describe the job
Expect to be asked for your address or ZIP code, the problem or project, and how soon you need help. If no participating provider covers your address at that time, you may be told so or the call may not connect.
3. You decide whether to hire
Any price, schedule, permit and warranty is agreed between you and the provider. You are never obligated to hire the provider you speak with. Before you agree, use the checklist in our guide Hiring an Electrician in Idaho.
What we cannot promise
We cannot promise a specific arrival time, availability at night or on weekends, a price, or that every provider is licensed for every job. Check the license yourself in the DOPL online license search before work starts.
In an emergency
If there is smoke, fire or someone is hurt, call 911. For downed power lines or a utility outage, contact Idaho Power. Stay away from wet or damaged electrical equipment.
